Overview

The Ottawa Valley Tourist Association (OVTA), the destination marketing organization for Renfrew County, the City of Pembroke, and the Upper Ottawa Valley, approached us to design a set of stickers that would encapsulate the region's vibrant and welcoming spirit.

Design Inspiration

To reflect the OVTA's dynamic blend of heritage and outdoor adventure, we proposed three distinct sticker designs, each incorporating the organization's signature colours—yellow, green, and blue:

Sunset: Symbolizing the Valley's breathtaking sunsets, this design features a stylized sun using the brand's signature yellow.

 

Maple Leaf: Representing the lush forests of the Valley, this sticker showcases a maple leaf in the brand's signature green.

 

Waterways: Highlighting the region's rivers and lakes, this design depicts flowing water elements in the brand's signature blue.

Each sticker was crafted in a barn quilt style, honouring the area's rural heritage and the tradition of barn quilts that celebrate community pride and artistic expression.

Our Role

We were responsible for the entire creative process, from conceptualization to final design, ensuring that each sticker authentically represented the OVTA's brand and the essence of the Ottawa Valley.

Outcome

While our initial proposal featured three separate stickers, the OVTA opted for a single sticker that amalgamated all three designs into one cohesive piece. This decision effectively encapsulated the diverse elements of the region in a unified design, resonating with both locals and visitors.
