The Downtown Interactive Goose Arch brings a little wild into the middle of Pembroke. Four stacked, geometric geese rise up on a bold plywood panel, a graphic nod to our famously fearless Canada geese. It’s punchy and playful on its own, but there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Point your phone at it and the piece wakes up. Grasses and cattails sway, bugs drift by, and you’re suddenly standing in a calm little marsh scene, right between downtown buildings. It’s quiet, immersive, and unexpectedly soothing.

The installation is a gentle nudge to slow down and look twice. With simple shapes and a bit of AR magic, it turns an everyday sidewalk into a small moment of wonder.
